Khalid Farooq – Team Member

Khalid is a seasoned investigations and forensic expert with over 18 years of experience in forensic analysis, digital forensics, finance, and corporate security. He advises public and private sector organizations, as well as prominent family businesses across the Middle East, on forensic investigations, complex financial matters, and business risk.

He began his career in banking with multinational institutions in the UAE before joining Dubai World, where he served in the Fraud Prevention Department, leading complex investigations using both traditional and digital forensic techniques. He later headed Corporate Security at Drydocks World, overseeing enterprise-wide security strategies and asset protection.

Khalid went on to hold senior leadership roles, including Director of Forensic Services at a Big Four firm and Partner – Forensic & Risk Advisory at a leading global advisory firm.

He holds an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology from the University of Portsmouth (UK) and is widely certified, including Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Interviewer, Certified Ethical Hacker, and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator. He is also a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia) and the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK).

Khalid is recognized for his expertise in fraud prevention, forensic auditing, and security management, delivering high-impact solutions in complex and regulated environments.
